how I work
& what shapes it
-
Focusing is a practice of attending to bodily sensations that helps us take seriously the signals and states from our own body, and to derive insights and coherent next steps from them. Beyond that, Focusing enables us to hold and explore ambivalences and inner polyphony – especially in challenging situations.
In my work, I use Focusing to deepen self-perception and to strengthen inner clarity and presence in group processes especially in community-based contexts and with marginalized communities.
-
My artistic background has taught me to work with forms and formlessness, to begin with questions rather than answers, and to make complex topics tangible through sensory, surprising approaches.
I work with diverse artistic forms and methods – always with the goal of opening spaces for insight and new thinking.
In times of crisis and rigidity, creative thinking is not an accessory but essential.
-
Dialogue is more than a conversation – it is a practice of thinking and feeling together, and transforming together. For me, conflicts are not "disruptions" but thresholds – moments in which what works beneath the surface becomes visible: needs, tensions, structural injustices.
I work with approaches from Miki Kashtan, embodied conflict resolution by Kai Cheng Thom, and the Embodied Social Justice approach by Rev. angel Kyodo williams, as well as politically informed dialogue work that does not ignore power dynamics but considers them actively.
These approaches invite us not to smooth over conflicts, but to use them as a starting point for deeper connection, insight, and change – informed by liberation work and attention to power dynamics, discrimination, and privilege.
-
Betzavta is an experiential facilitation method designed to make visible the tensions between freedom and equality, individuality and community.
It enables us to look beyond opinions toward needs, to question decision-making processes, and to make unspoken rules visible and discussable.
Through experiential exercises, patterns of action and thought are not only analyzed abstractly but made tangible and felt. This develops a deeper understanding – and change can be shaped more consciously and creatively.
Here, conflicts are used as a learning field for democratic action and creative problem-solving – exploring group dynamics with attention to power dynamics and participation.
-
The recognition that trauma and harm are not only individual but also collective and structural.
This is about strengthening resources, creating awareness and knowledge, and taking the nervous system seriously as an essential part of how we handle conflicts and change.
I connect psychosocial support with political awareness – because suffering does not arise in a vacuum, but within social conditions.
Trauma-informed work is therefore always also a practice of solidarity for me: How do we hold each other when the world does not hold us?
-
Somatic and mindfulness-based practices – from conscious breathing through body awareness to meditation – support us in difficult situations, strengthen inner stability, enable self-knowledge, and open a space of resonance where encounters with ourselves and others become possible.
I use these practices in all my formats – as openings for sessions, as support during overwhelm, in group processes to strengthen embodiment and navigate difficult situations.

These approaches flow together in my work.
